Resident Cats

Here at Syros Cats we care for around 70 long-term residents. These are either cats we have adopted ourselves or cats (and kittens) with special needs. Many of our resident cats need regular medication or have strict dietary and behaviour regimes to improve their quality of life (and every single one of them gets as much attention and love as we can give!).

Many of them roam freely around our shelter, sleeping where they please and generally getting into all sorts of adventures. Others, for their safety or because of medical issues, need to be kept in one our spacious runs (but still get 5-star treatment on a daily basis). Of course there always new kittens and cats in need coming to us too! Keep an eye on this page to catch up with all our regulars and new arrivals.

Note – several of our resident cats would benefit from a loving, permanent home so are available for adoption (see the list below). The rest of the cats would love sponsors to help cover the costs of their care. of course all donations are gratefully accepted too!
