Ginger

Ginger is a very cute male who came to us in May 2022. Unfortunately his owner was very sick and couldn’t take care of him anymore, so we agreed to take him.

He initially got lost very easily and after a 5 day absence and the accompanying trauma we decided to keep him in the main house for his safety. Sadly this backfired as he got really depressed and started eating a lot (leaving the house via the catflap became impossible!).

Fortunately we have great volunteers on hand who took Ginger for supervised walks and reaccustomed him to being outside (and not getting lost). He’s lost a lot of weight now (can actually fit through the cat flap!) and he’s not depressed anymore, thankfully.

He’s a very gorgeous boy with a very high pitched meow and a gentle nature (very partial to cuddles). He loves sleeping on the couch and on volunteers beds and although he could in theory use the catflap, vastly prefers if we open the door for him!
