Shiro - Adopt Me!
About Shiro
Shiro showed up in June 2024, he was staying on the porch of a house close to the nearest bus stop, so we knew we had to try and get him as soon as possible.
It was no piece of cake, why would it be anyway ? He was really spicy mostly because he was scared of us, we have no idea if he’d known any humans before. Everytime we went to feed him and clean his cage, he would just hide and hiss at us. He still let us give him not one, but two baths ! Poor Shiro was infested with fleas, we could see them running on his belly .
He never tried to scratch or bite us though, so we knew he would become friendly at some point. He actually made progress, realising we are not a threat to him, and even though the hissing didn’t stop right away, he started purring The first time he did it, he was as surprised as we were!
And now, oh now he is the sweetest! He would just come and greet us, purr and ask for pets, playing with us and even just relaxing.
Shiro is available for adoption but needs friends in his forever home as well as time and a proper introduction to get along. He’s very playful, very beautiful and drools when he’s happy!
