Pumpkin
About Pumpkin
Found as a kitten in 2014 and was supposed to be adopted but tested positive for FIP (Feline infectious peritonitis), a nasty viral infection which means he had to be isolated. Since then he has a rough time, catching an ear infection, which has left him with a permanently tilted head and an abscess above one eye that healed in a way it prevented Pumpkin to be able to close his eye properly (gives him a mischievous look, like he’s always up to no good !). He also suffers from urinary issues, had his nose amputated due to cancer in May 2023 and had an eye removed in 2024.
But Pumpkin is nothing if not resilient, he does let his mischievous streak show every now and then and still enjoys baiting his nemesis Frosty. Given all that’s happened to him though we try and keep a close eye on him, he’s now a reverse night shed cat : in for the day to avoid the harshest hours of sun, and out during the night. He got use to it pretty quickly and kinda loves it !
