Welcome to the Aquarium Feeding Station where volunteers from Syros Cats feed and monitor a colony of street cats. Look around and you may spot these feline visitors:
Oscar is very popular with his fellow felines at the feeding station and can often be seen doing head bumps with them. He allows humans to pet him gently too! Oscar has a problem with his third eyelid for which he receives regular treatment. In early 2022, he also underwent dental surgery.
William loves life and loves people! He is a bit of a foodie and will even help himself from the bucket of food when the Syros Cats volunteers come to top up the feeding station. He can often be found on the nearby beach. A happy cat in his happy place!
Beautiful tortoiseshell Soko will approach you at feed times but generally likes to keep her distance. She’s almost always seen with her fellow tortie Ana, who is also a little shy.
Grey is a beautiful grey-and-white girl who loves her food but is not keen on being petted, so we ask you kindly to respect her wishes!
Our thanks to We Live Together who came up with the original idea of creating ‘Cat Café’ feeding stations to improve the lives of homeless cats in Kini and throughout the island of Syros.
