Here at Henry's Wall feeding station, tucked in under the olive tree, there are just two regular visitors, the wonderfully fluffy Henry and young tabby Batty. Occasionally, black-and-white Sylvester also pops by. Like all our street cats, they get regular parasite and worming treatment and volunteers monitor them for any other health issues.
Henry’s a very friendly boy and is waiting to greet the volunteers with a meow and a chirrup every morning.
Batty appeared at Henry's Wall early in 2022. She’s very friendly.
Shy Nefeli was also found in this area. Being entirely white, she is particularly vulnerable to sunburn, and subsequently to skin cancer, due to the harsh summer sun. In fact, although Nefeli is only young, her ears were already showing signs of damage. For this reason, Nefeli was brought to Syros Cats. Once she has gained confidence, we intend finding her a loving home in a cooler climate.

Our thanks to We Live Together who came up with the original idea of creating ‘Cat Café’ feeding stations to improve the lives of homeless cats in Kini and throughout the island of Syros.
